Abstract:
Soil management influences in the soil physical properties. The continuous
supply of organic matter provides better structuring of the soil. Physical properties in
conservation management systems had been evaluated in a Latossolo Vermelho Distroférico ,
in experimental area of the Foz do Iguaçu West of the Paraná-Brazil. The trials had been
established in soil with of description of five years under no tillage: wheat under no tillage and
wheat under minimum cultivation. Samples had been collected for determination of the particles
density, soil bulk density, total porosity and organic matter content. No tillage presented greater
organic matter content and bulk density. The values for particle density had increased with the
depth, as well as the total porosity. The minimum cultivation increase the porosity in superficial
layer, however to contribute for reduce the porosity the layer the 10-15 and the 15-20 cm the
depth.
