Resumen:
The aim of this work was to evaluate the spray volume effect on the soybean fungicide
application for rust control. Three spray volumes were evaluated (90, 115 and 160 L ha-1) in the
fungicide application. Hydraulic standard flat fan spray nozzles were used. Beside this, an additional
treatment was evaluated without the fungicide application (non-treated plot). Emgopa 313 soybean
(long cycle) were sown. After the application of the fungicide tebuconazole, with the different volume
rates, the rust severity and the yield were evaluated. The results showed that, with favorable climatic
conditions to pesticide application, the increase of the spray volume (90 to 160 L ha-1) did not
influence the rust severity and the soybean yield in the treated plots.
