Resumo:
The volumetric distribution pattern is an important parameter for the spray nozzles
selection for each pesticide application. Thus, the objective of this study was to evaluate the
volumetric distribution of air induction twin flat spray nozzles, with different nominal flows, under
different work pressures and heights on the test table (patternator). It was evaluated the deposition
pattern of each nozzles individually, in a test table, and then the coefficient of variation of the nozzle
distribution influenced by the relationship between nozzles spacing and height was simulated. The
uniformity of volumetric distribution was influenced by the nominal flow, by the liquid pressure, and
by the working height. The nozzles, in a general way, presented good distribution uniformity, mainly
the ones of larger nominal flow. The accomplished simulations allowed the selection of the best
operational conditions for each nozzle.
