Resumo:
The mechanism of found base cut in the harvester of fodder plants, generally is
connected to the structure of the machine, hindering the platform to follow the profile of the ground,
ignoring ridges, thus causing losses of the product and to compromise of its quality. The system of
base cut was obtained to skirt this problem modifying, adding a articulated mechanism of four bars.
The work had for objective to get an equation of motion of the mechanism through the lagrangian
formalism of the dynamics; software Matlab 6,1 was used, and was become valid it equation through
the simulator program Working Model 5.0. To simplify the calculations, the bars of the mechanism
had been projected to have the length of 1m. With these softwares had been gotten graphical that had
allowed the validation of the equation of motion. One concluded that the used method is valid and the
software of virtual archetypes is a new tool that can be used in the development of new machines.
