Verificação da eficiência de um filtro adicional de óleo lubrificante em um motor diesel de trator agrícola.

Abstract

This paper proposes itself to check the efficiency of a supplementary equipment of the filtrage of the lubrificant oils in the service. The system used is a filter process under pressure. The pressure of the lubrification system of the engine itself lead only part of the supply for the filter environment (by pass), separating bigger particles of 1 μ of the diameter regarding to the manufacturer of the equipment. The samples of lubrificant oil used were analyzed for the period of eight months, when the equipment was installed in the tractor’s engine Valtra BH 180 and after taking out the filter, through the usual tests of the analysis of lubrificant oils: appearance, odor, viscosousity measurement, determinate of the soot, presence of the water and presence of the metals, was intended to check the influence of the system in the degradation of the lubrification oil used. The result expected, the cleaning of the harmful elements through the retreat of solids of the lubrificant oil used, which would permit the usage of the oil for a major period, was not reached. So that, it was checked that the filter used was not appropriated for the experiment.
