Resumo:
This work presents a knowledge based system with support to decision making applied
to the management of agriculture moto-mechanical systems (GEMEC), whose the main purposes is
the generation of alternative options in the decision process relate to the following items: (a) the
choice and allocation of a set of tractors and agriculture implements to the activities of soil preparation
as: seeding, application of raw materials and crops), (b) determination of allocation of human,
financial and material resources, (c) provide indicators of technical and economical efficiencies of the
activity. It was used the techniques of Operational Research to develop this system as a set of discrete
events. The system was developed under the Borland Delphi environment and BDE (Borland Delphi
Engine) with a Paradox local database. To perform the validation of GEMEC it has been used data sets
of a group of agricultures of Cooperativas form the city of Lavras in Minas Gerais (Brazil).
