Abstract

: With the objective to evaluate the cost/profit relation of the adoption of spacing reduced in the culture of the corn in relation the acquisition of a specific cutterbar for the mechanized harvest of grains, was carried through a study considering the different variable that intervene with the investment. A flow of distinguishing box was confectioned contends the entrances and exits of the investment. The entrances had consisted of the production profits, esteem in the different yield and sizes of area of considered farming and the residual value of the harvest platform. The exits had been divided in expenditures of investment and operational expenditures. The flow of box Valor Presente Líquido (VPL) and productivity of balance had been calculated on the basis of. It was verified that in low yield the adoption of the technique is not rewarded by the increase waited in the production.
