Resumo:
The castorbean tree (Ricinus Commnis L.) it is a resistant plant to dries and to the
diverse factors between them the climatic one sufficiently sensible. It was objectified to verify and to
quantify the isolated and joint effect of the factors nitrogenada fertilization, and nocturnal temperature
in two distinct environments. The experiment was lead in conditions of natural environment and
chamber of pertaining growth the EMBRAPA Cotton, in Campina Great - PB, of July à August of
2005. The used experimental delineation was of entirely to perhaps with four repetitions and eight
treatments, in factorial distribution, being the factors four doses of Nitrogen (0, 60, 120, 180 kg of
N/ha) and two nocturnal temperatures high (approximately 30°C) and low (approximately 20°C). The
analyses of variance of the data of the 0 variable of height of plant and diameter had been carried
through to caulinar. For the height in two environments, the raised nocturnal temperature after reduced
the growth of the plants from the 35 days emergency (DAE). The diameter to caulinar had significance
for the two times (35 and 41 DAE) and did not have significance for the two others (19 and 26 DAE),
indicating independence between the studied factors. It was concluded that nitrogenada fertilization
increases the growth of the plants, that almost independent of environments.
