Resumo:
The current research aimed to evaluate the fertilizer potential of the biosolid in the
lettuce culture, through growing analysis and productivity. The experiment was carried out in a mean
protected, with randomized experimental design, with for replications, using limed sewer sludge
containing 30% of dried basis. Seven treatments in soil originated from the B horizon were performed:
(T) witness, with addition of limestone for correcting the acidity; (B1) biosolid applied in a
recommended dose (DR) to supply the necessity of N for the lettuce culture; (B2) biosolid applied
twice the DR of N; (B3) biosolid applied three times the DR of N ; (B4) biosolid applied four times
the DR of N ; (B1+ PK) B1 plus supplementation of P and K in the DR; (NPK_B) application of NPK
plus correction of the acidity in the DR and one treatment in soil originated from the A horizon:
(NPK_A) with application of NPK in the DR. The parameters fresh and dried mass, area of the leaf,
heigh of the plant and number of leaves were evaluated. The biosolid showed fertilizer potential for
the lettuce culture, because some doses obtained higher values of the fresh and dried mass and area of
the leaf as testimony treatment, where the 270 Kg ha-1 treatment demonstrated higher average values
of the fresch and dried mass and area of the leaf, though there isn’t statistics difference among the
biosolid doses for those parameters.
