Indicadores de sustentabilidade ambiental para o diagnóstico dos recursos hídricos das bacias dos Rios Piracicaba, Capivari e Jundiaí: Parte II- aspectos hidrológicos.

Abstract

This paper presents an evaluation of the use conditons of the water resources into the Unidade de Gerenciamento de Recursos Hídricos das Bacias dos Rios Piracicaba, Capivari e Jundiaí – UGRHI 5, do Estado de São Paulo. There were selected eight indicators of environmental sustainability to evaluate the demand conditions and the water availability of the examined sub-basins. The selected indicators had been demonstrated sufficiently adequate and important to quantify and transmitting the technical and scientific information. There was an important analysis of the hydrographic conditions of the sub-basins, identifying the priorities for the rational use of the resources. The rational use and environmental education is priority in the river basins of Piracicaba, Jundiaí and Capivari.
