Resumo:
By dwelling on the locus of the "queen of Borborema", and its transformations urban that
occurred in the period between the end of the nineteenth century and the first half of the
twentieth century, revealing its history from a panoramic view of spatial changes of the city
and consequently, the transformations in historical heritage in the passage of time. These
perceptions create sociabilities and develop new webs of relations with the local urban
universe. The research that is presented here aims to analyze how the patrimonies historical
allow accessibility of people with disabilities to museums Historical and Geographic of
Campina Grande and the Museum Assis Chateaubriand. Reflecting how urban reform was
part of the composition of the urban sensitivities composed by memories, revealing spaces of
affections, sorrows, exclusion, jobs, experiences; we have history as one of the places of
production of memory and forgetfulness. We take as evidence the studies developed by
Câmara (1988), Almeida (1978), Pesavento (2015), Aranha (2001), Choay (2006) among
others. Starting from a qualitative research, bibliographical and documentary, as constituent
of our sources we have, newspapers of time, photographs, memories and researches in the
constitutional legislations that regulate the heritage and accessibility. We launch our critical
build our narrative and approach a little bit of the transformations in urban space and the new
sociabilities and sensibilities, and symbolic apprehensions, by the population of Campinas.
Hoping to have a greater understanding about the possibilities presented.
