Résumé:
This experiment was carried out in laboratory in order to evaluate organic nitrogen
mineralization in soils with different easily reducible manganese that received such wastes. A
Rhodic Acrustox and a Typic Haplustox, received three levels of each sludge (595, 1190 and 1785
kg N ha-1
): a liming sludge, with very low chromium contents (LCL) and a primary sludge, with 17
g Cr kg-1
(LCR). The soil-sludge mixtures were leachate after incubation during increasing periods
(until 132 days) in percolation tubes. The LCR applications compared to the LCL ones diminishes
the percentages of the accumulated mineralized nitrogen from sludges (averages of 4% and 35.5%),
indicating N mineralization inhibition, possible due to high chromium content of that sludge.
