In this context, this research objectively evaluates the radioactive risk resulting from exposure to radon and exposure in indoor environments in the population in the eastern Seridó of Paraíba, with a strong influence of the analysis on its local economy. Monitoring was performed with the aid of passive dosimetry using an alpha detector, model Corentium Home. The experimental arrangement for measuring floor variation was defined in indoor environments for prolonged stay in places that have water points, bathroom and kitchen, always positioning the device at a floor height, 90 m < 1.50 m.
