Resumo:
The April 1964 coup in Brazil established a historie period marked by repression and the
suppression of human and collective rights. Thus, it is not a tool of history, without proposals
of the civil literature, but also of the participation o f civil society during the coup. In this sense,
the objective of this work, during the period from 1967 to 1970, is to investigate, not in the
State o f Paraíba, especially in the city of João Pessoa and Campina Grande, an articulation of
the University Student movement and related social movements, in which , among others, is
the trajectory and political militancy o f João Roberto Borges de Souza, student leader at the
Federal University o f Paraíba, Campus I, since 1968. Throughout the research of processes,
