Avaliação do uso e ocupação do solo na microbacia hidrográfica do córrego da Fazenda Gloria, Taquaritinga, SP.

Abstract

This work had as main objective to elaborate the Maps of the drainage net, relief, erosive process and land use and to evaluate the evolution of the land use at the Córrego da Fazenda Glória Hydrographic Microbasin, Taquaritinga Municipality - SP, in the period of 1983 to 2000. The sugar cane became predominant in 2000, distributed in a relatively extensive area and it is the main land use at the microbasin area. In field works, it has been confirmed areas reforested with native forest species, mainly in the streams of the Córrego da Glória Farm and Serra do Jabuticabal. The morphometric characteristics had demonstrated a reduction of the number of first order of magnitude streams and length of the net drainage during the analyzed period.
