Resumen:
The Global positioning system in the area of Agrarian Sciences has been used for
topographical surveys, land use mapping, and it has being of extreme importance for agriculture of
precision, surveying and geographic localization of points for collecting data in scientific works. The
constant evolution of the equipments and softwares in the topography area propitiated a considerable
profit in productivity and quality in elaboration maps that will serve for projects of Engineering. The
main objective of this work was to analyze the data collected from four different equipments of great
use in the national market, Total Station, geodetic GPS, topographical GPS and navigation GPS. The
navigation GPS for measurements points was less imprecise than Geodetic GPS e Topographic GPS.
The use of Geodetic and Topographic GPS can be considered acceptable.
