Espacialização do uso da terra obtida pelo SIG-SPRING em imagens CBERS

Abstract

That work aimed the elaboration of the use shart of Rio Claro basin, Municipal district of Pratânia and São Manuel - SP, seeking the adapted planning of the occupation of the soil, used of System Geographical Information - SPRING 4.1 and of the images you originating from of the satellite CBERS II, scene of 03/05/2005. The basin locates among the geographical coordinates 22o

45' and 22o

51' of latitudes S and the meridians 48o

32' and 48o

38' of longitudes W Gr., presenting an area of 4973,87ha. They were used for definition of the limit of the basin, the planialtimetrics sharts of the IBGE of Pratânia and São Manuel. The used methodology allowed to end that the images of the satellite CBERS was efficient sources of information; that SIG-SPRING, was efficient and precise in the elaboration of the maps and in the calculation of

measures; that the gratuity and access easiness for acquisition of the images CBERS and of SIG- SPRING for INPE allow the development of hundreds of works for the Country, being the

techniques of remote sensing and fundamental geoprocessing for the agility and precision of the results. The results allow to infer that the watershed comes being preserved in environmental terms, because it comes covered with more than 20% with forest covering of the type forest, brushood and reforestation, because the minimum demanded by law is of 20%. The high index of

2 use of the earth for stands with pastures, brushoods and forests reflect the predominance of sandy soils with low fertility, as well as the presence of 2/3 with agricultural use and pasture, they show the regional predominance of the agricultural.
