Resumo:
The operational complexity of utility systems and in particular of electric power plants requires very sofisticated control and information processing. Several Supervisory Control and Data Aquisition Systems (SCADA) are operating or being installed in the brazilian elestric utilities companies. The Hydroeletric Company of Sao Francisco(CHESF)
operates a simple supervisory and telemetring system, using the existing facilities for high voltage power transmission. A u-computer system for data aquisition and processing at the dispatch center of CHESF supervisory network was developed in the present work. The company conditions and the compatibility with the o ther operating parts of the system are observed. The tests of operation and completion of the recommended
conditions are described. The specified conditions involve the error control system, the acceptance of data and messages constraints, report format, data structure, operational conditions etc.
