Resumo:
The general objective of this research is to investigate the importance of using teaching resources
in rural schools a mediation in the teaching-learning process, based on the reports of teachers
from two rural schools: the municipal school of early childhood and elementary education
"Firminoo Santino da Silva", located in quilombo Caiana dos Crioulos, municipality of Alagoa
Grande-PB and the school "José Bonifácio Barbosa de Andrade", municipality of Sumé-PB.
Therefore, we raise the following questions: what teaching resources do teachers in rural
schools use in the classroom? How are these resources used in the mediation of teaching
activities? In what way do these teaching resources contribute to the teaching-learning process
in rural schools? seeking to answer these questions, we conducted qualitative research, in which
a questionnaire was prepared and applied in google forms, being applied to five teachers online,
contributing with their experiences and conceptions to the research. The analysis of the
responses of the participants from both schools was carried out in a critical and reflective
manner, regarding the use of teaching resources in their classes. To this end, we based ourselves
on some authors such as: Denzin and Lincoln et al (2006), Minayo (2008), Rêgo (2006), Souza
(2007), Silva (2023), who were fundamental to the foundation of this research work. Therefore,
teaching resources are used to facilitate the teaching and learning process of students. It is clear
that the combination of different strategies is essential in the construction of teaching resources
to be used in the classroom to explain certain topics. Given everything that was highlighted
during this research, it is important to emphasize that these teaching resources are of utmost
importance, as they make classes more dynamic and participatory, encouraging student
involvement and their continuous development in certain subjects. This facilitates the
assimilation of much of the proposed content.
