Resumo:
Analyzes the microcredit program Agroamigo Banco do Nordeste from the perspective of
beneficiaries in rural communities Amaragi, Almeida, Campinote, Mineiro and Pai
Domingos, in the municipality of Lagoa Seca, Paraiba inside. Our main goal is to investigate
how small producers Agroamigo, are applying the resources of microcredit in the family unit
and analyze the conditions of life of farmers. Having the dialectical method as a guide, if you
want to observe the relationship between agricultural and non- agricultural production, rural
microcredit and family reproduction, thus indicating the possible limits, as well as the
possibilities that Agroamigo may present with regard the effective capacity to ensure better
living conditions for farmers studied. Thus, we highlight the socioeconomic characteristics of
those social actors in which live in extreme poverty and are deprived of effective public
policies to improve their living conditions. For the development of this work directly
semistructured interviews with beneficiaries Agroamigo with open and closed questions were
conducted associated the following dimensions: living conditions, production / consumption
and influence of Agroamigo in production and social reproduction . In short, we intend to
study the performance of public policies in Brazil focusing on family agriculture group B
Pronaf, and in particular the microcredit program Agroamigo and their possible contributions
to changes in the conditions of life and work of farmers neediest families.
