Resumen:
The work aims to investigate the reading in the early elementary school years. The
choice of subject is justified by the fact realize the need for strategies that can help
children. It is necessary to know how to choose specific books for children to help in
the creativity, teaching and learning. The research has the general objective: To
analyze the processes of teaching and learning of reading in the early elementary
school years. Specific: To analyze the strategies used to reading in the classroom;
Characterize the methodology used by teachers to teach reading to students; Identify
the positive aspects that contribute to the performance of students in reading. We
seek research, come to an understanding of the subject, thus dividing the work into
three chapters. In the first chapter performed a theoretical study on reading and its
influence on their child's life. The second chapter provides an approach to the
challenges that teachers face in the classroom, also highlights the importance of
working with reading in school, the various strategies to work reading, which provide
opportunities to work with various activities in Years of primary school, as they are
characterized as effective means of development and socialization of knowledge. In
the third chapter we made an analysis on the use of reading in the classroom,
through information obtained from the questionnaire. Data analysis, this came from
studies in theoretical foundation. This chapter describes the place of the research
subjects and instruments of data collection. Proceeded to analyze the data
substantiated by several authors who have given us support and theoretical basis in
discussions. We conclude this study presenting with relevant conclusions and
reflections that emerged during the development process of the research and data
analysis.
