O agente histórico: uma análise do conceito de indivíduo histórico na filosofia da história de Hegel.

Abstract

This research is developed within the domain of the history of concepts and aims to analyze the concept of historical subject present in the Philosophy of History of Hegel. It sought to investigate the relations between philosophical thought and the reality of history through which the concept of Hegelian historical subject was constructed, thus presenting the historical and conceptual elements for the construction and understanding of the man as an agent and subject of history, reflected by G. W. F. Hegel in his premises on history and its principles. As a method for this investigation, we made use of historical exegesis, seeking a careful interpretation of the researched concept, based on both the textual elements themselves and the extratextual elements present in the historical reality contemporary to the elaboration of the concept of historical subject. As a result, research accomplished in the formulation of a concept that understands freedom as the essence of human existence, thus determining man as subject and object of the historical process, thus understanding that the historical individual is the half and the very end of the facts, phenomena and events of history.
