Résumé:
The insertion of the Family Health Strategy (ESF) in Brazil constitutes an institutional
innovation in the field of care related to physical and mental well-being, in this context, the
Family Health Support Center - NASF has the role of expanding the consolidation support ESFs. This research aimed to understand the experiences of users of the Family Health Support Center - NASF, located in Monteiro - PB, regarding the services offered and the quality of the work developed. It is a study conducted through a quantitative-qualitative approach and systematic observation, through semi-structured interviews with 40 users of the services provided in the NASF, considering the years 2017 and 2018. The processing and interpretation of the discursive material evidenced analyzes referring to the formal aspects of assistance, humanization and reception, infrastructure and specialties offered. In this way, it was observed that the users perceive the welcome and ambience, and have good interaction among professionals, there is also, drug availability and humanization as the main elements present in the NASF, aiming to promote quality care in physical and mental health. It is concluded that, despite the presence of structural obstacles and slowness in the examination procedures, the aspects of the assistance, evidenced by this Nucleus and pointed by the users, corroborate with the ideals of SUS and indicate that the reorientation of this model of attention has obtained relevant results regarding health promotion and disease prevention in said municipality.
