Abstract

This work presents the simulation of a Tele-Processing Network, consisting of a "Multi-Point Transmission Line connecting several terminals to a Central Computer." Information on Response Times, transmission line usage, message queue statistics The two methods of line control with Poling and a Contention method are simulated for Half-Duplex and Full-Duplex transmission lines. analysis and comparison of the simulated methods, and, it is suggested the dimensioning of a Multipoint Network through analysis.
