Abstract:
The present dissertation starting from the possibility of analysing the institutional writings produced by the National Campaign of schools of the Community (CNEC) aimed to reflect about the tessitura of CNEC’s institutional and educational memory, which pursued to produce a uniform identity on the history of the institution. As an attempt to have produced a school culture desired by the administrators of the campaign, discourse linked to the production of the desired subjectivities. Therefore, this research is allocated in the field of the History of Education, having as its basis the theoretical support of concepts such as School Culture (FRAGO, 1995), discourse according to the contributions of the thought of (FOULCAULT, 2014), memory (NORA, 1991) and biographic illusion in (BOURDIEU, 2006). Through the reading of the texts included in Collection Cenecista, compendium published in 1994 by the Cenecista book publisher on the occasion of the 50 years anniversary celebration of the institution in Brazil. It was questioned from the discourse analysis methodology, as the publication of that one was linked to the production of an institutional memory about the school network from a laudatory and apologetics history, which intended to establish modes of remembering and telling the history of the institution and the life of its founders. As well as, acting as a defining element of a normative pedagogy intended to produce examples and testimonials to be followed by the students, teachers and other members of their school communities, as ideal subjects of the Cenecista cause.
