Resumo:
The study object of this research is bullying. The general objective is to analyze the consequences of bullying in the process of teaching and learning, and the specific objectives are: Identify the conceptions of teachers about bullying; Identify the views of students on bullying; Knowing how teachers deal with Bullies and victims of bullying. As for the methodological approach was based on a literature and an exploratory field research. The subjects were four teachers and 12 students from the 4th grade of elementary school. The research locus was one public school in São João do Rio do Peixe-PB. The data collection instruments were: the interview with the teachers and the focus group with students. The theoretical study allowed us to conclude that bullying cases may even evolve into severe cases of mental disorders and / or behaviors that often bring irreversible damage. The study allowed us to reflect on our role as educators, our practices in relation to learning, which should provide, as far as possible, a healthy environment for our students, where there is respect, dialogue, justice, friendship, solidarity and cooperation.
