Resumen:
The work entitled "The Teaching Work: Construction of Educational Spaces in School and
Family" is considered a matter of studies, researches and reflections on the contemporary
requirements. This monographic study was conducted in public school in the city of São João
do Rio do Peixe. North had the following objectives: to analyze the teaching work in the
construction of educational and interactive spaces between school and family; discuss the
function of the school before the contemporary requirements; reflect the importance of the
participation of the family in the school environment and enable interactive moments of
significant knowledge construction in teaching practice. The study has as theoretical
contribution the following authors: Saviani (1991); Libaneo (1995); Freire (1996); Antunes
(1998); Arroyo (1998); Pimenta (1999); Perrenoud (2000); Nóvoa (2002); Piaget (2002);
Tiballi (2002) Carvalho (2006); Tardif e Lessard (2009); Rios (2010); among others. The
choice of this theme has emerged on the need to better understand the importance of teaching
work in the process of interaction between school and family, aiming to enhance the practice
and the teaching-learning process. Bibliographic and research was used. The subjects of the
research were five teachers, been used as a data collection instrument interview semi
structured comprised of eight questions. Data analysis in a qualitative approach. The results
were considered significant enough, since the teachers understand the need for mediation
between the teacher and the students in the construction of knowledge. Understand also that
educational institutions must engage in reflective practice, in addition to prioritize interaction
of families in the educational process and formation of children.
