Resumo:
The present work is an analysis of the posters of the health education campaigns produced by the Ministry of Health in the years 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015. We draw as a problem question the way in which the black is mentioned and exposed in these images of the posters. Thus, the objective of this work is to analyze the representation of the black population in the images of the advertising campaigns of the Ministry of Health dealing with infectious diseases: HEPATITIS, TUBERCULOSIS, HANSENÍASE, of the years 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 that presents black as a marked figure in effigies. For this, we take as theoretical reference authors such as Santaella (2005), Neiva (1993) Hall (2006), Lins (2014), Nunes and Camino (2014), Therborn (2006), Silva (2012). Still in this issue, the work is justified in contributing to the different aspects of society, both in the social and academic areas, since we have created the possibility of showing to the general population, which in the images of the advertisements of the Ministry of Health can encourage the Prejudice and racial discrimination; Stereotypes that denigrate the image of the black population in general, because we point out that they contribute even indirectly to the continuity of racial inequality in our country. It is noticed that, when frequently used the images of black people connected to situations of illnesses, the Ministry of Health leads us to understand that they would be, more frequently, the holders or susceptible to them. This would be reflected in other social problems.
