Resumo:
The objective of this research is to raise a debate about youth experiences and practices of young rockers of Ceará, Crato and Juazeiro do Norte, Ceará, bringing reflections on youth as a multiple category to be understood ethnographically. In this way, I try to understand the rocky lifestyles of young people in these inner cities, especially with regard to leisure practices. In this sense, a perspective was adopted that privileges the analysis of youth through categories as a piece and path (MAGNANI, 2002) based on the analysis of spaces that are occupied and re-signified by the young. In order to do so, we analyzed the interactions among young people in their interdependence networks with other groups in the city, "not rockers", causing a series of affinities, conflicts and segmentation that are developed within the city. Thus, urban space, as a network that challenges actors in their multiple dimensions are unique places fundamental to the microscopic understanding of everyday life. In this research, the relation of youngsters is punctuated beyond the point of view of age, which provides an explanation for the conceptual heterogeneity and relations of the term youth. In addition, some issues such as work in the life of young musicians and social invisibility are highlighted as relevant elements to situate the present work.
