Resumo:
This article aims to investigate conceptions of Mathematic teachers about statistical literacy from a critical training perspective, focused on the understanding of the contemporary world. This way, it was sought to identify, through the application of a questionnaire, the profile, conceptions about the importance of statistical knowledge and the perception they have about statistical literacy, considering that the statistical knowledge is present in the different media, social networks and means of communication, where people in general, not statistically literate, may be left without the possibility of the necessary understanding for the full exercise of citizenship. We highlight the need for teaching and learning of statistics from a statistical literacy perspective. It was concluded with this work that.
