Resumen:
This final paper aims show how documentaries can contribute to the inclusion and teaching-
learning process of school Geography. In this perspective, it‟s necessary raise some
discussions about deafness, the teacher formation and the public policies of school inclusion
in the state school of children‟s education and elementary school Don Moses Coelho, located
in the Municipality of Cajazeiras-PB, having as research subjects the students of the 8
th
grade
of adult and young education of the night shift. Was pointed out as justification the
specificities of deal students, the needs of inclusive education. The survey began in September
2017 and lasted until mid- August 2018. After some visits to the educations institution for the
collection of information through the application of questionnaires aiming at obtaining
information related to the school in it‟s general context, as well as the students‟ understanding
after the presentations of a documentaries in the classroom. The use of cinema from the
documentary ´´Pollution-It‟s consequences- Environment``, provides a better understanding
of the transformations and important caused to the environment through human action.
Therefore, we understand that the results obtained demonstrated that the documentaries
present a methodological potential to be used in Geography classes, because they meet the
planned objectives, contributing above all, to the development of a critical and reflexive
knowledge of the students about their living spacy changes in the environment.
