Résumé:
This study discusses a phenomenon that is very recurrent in today's society and, more
frequently, in school context, Bullying. It is an act that is increasingly being discussed in
formations and council meetings, however, this act in some cases ends up receiving an
indifferent treatment because it is only seen as "children's play". Questioning about the
consequences of bullying in the teaching and learning process of Elementary School Final
Years, we began to understand that bullying is a phenomenon of aggressive behavior
expressed in different ways, in other words, encompassing intentional and repeated actions
adopted by one or more students against others incapable of defending themselves by
fomenting suffering and anguish for the victims. We start from the assumption that school
must provide an environment of studies, as well as a favorable space to interaction,
socialization and develop elements of citizenship. Our methodological proposal was based on
a qualitative approach, we sought to understand what influences bullying phenomenon had on
learning process of students in the Final Years of Elementary Education of a Public Education
Institution. For research development, we adopted the field research with the semistructured
interview to obtain data, applied among 6th grade teachers of Elementary School Final Years.
Results indicate that bullying is an undeniable reality in educational institutions, in which
those involved are victims of physical and / or moral aggression, needing help to overcome
the conflicts that cause so much impact on school development. At the same time, we sought
to highlight the relevance of the study in question, it was aimed to emphasize school's
awareness of the relevance of elaborating projects to work on bullying phenomenon,
establishing attitudes committed to the child integral development, through a environment that
is more welcoming, understanding and respectful of existing differences. Thus, bullying is not
a joke, it is something serious, it hurts, it attacks, humiliates and it can cause suicide.
