Resumo:
It is known that technological resources can aid in the teaching-learning process,
enabling children to develop skills and knowledge on various contents, such as
healthy eating habits. With the support of digital tools, Food Education is a relevant
topic to be discussed with students to understand the importance of having a good
eating habits and benefits, and discuss the problems and harms of unhealthy diet.
Thus, this study aims to understand the relevance of the use of Digital Education
Games as motivators for healthy food education by children in Early Childhood
Education. The research is characterized as applied and descriptive and was used
as a bibliographical survey to carry out the field research, initially. A questionnaire
was used as instrument for data collection, which were analyzed and discussed with
the quantitative and qualitative approach. The results show that the teachers of the
nurseries researched in the city do not understand the relevance of the use of the
Digital Educational Games as tools of support in teaching a healthy diet in Early
Childhood Education. The results still confirm the assumptions that some Teaching
Institutions, especially nurseries, are not favored by public educational policies for
insertion of technological resources in pedagogical environments, especially
nurseries, causing unprepared professionals to work with the support of technology.
