Resumo:
This study aims to analyze the quality of public care at the Santa Filomena Regional Hospital, located in the city of Monteiro - PB, in 2017, considering the satisfaction of the population as a measure. As justification, the present research aims to contribute to the studies about the quality of care in the public departments, and specifically to evaluate the criteria of people management at the Santa Filomena Regional Hospital, located in the city of Monterio - PB, which serves a large Demand of citizens of several cities of Cariri Paraibano every day. Methodologically, this study follows characteristics of a bibliographic nature, and can be classified as descriptive-exploratory and qualitative research. As a data collection instrument, questionnaires with open and multiple choice questions were applied to the employees of the Santa Filomena Regional Hospital, in Monteiro - PB, in order to verify the quality of care to the public, and how the organization Management. As results, it was verified that there are organizational failures in people management at the Santa Filomena Regional Hospital in Monteiro, PB, and the precariousness of the service is contrary to the constitutional principles that guide the public management of Brazil.
