Resumo:
This work consists of a case study based on the central objective of listing the environmental and occupational risks present in a furniture company located in the city of Campina Grande. The organization has two units or production plants that work independently and produce customized wood artifacts, one manufactures doors and window frames, other produces planned furniture. The methodological process presented in this case study initially delimited the general and specific objectives, then the bibliographic survey of research-related subjects was carried out, later the company was visited for the recognition of the production units and quantitative measurements in the work environment were made, seeking to measure the noise and illuminance values which the workers were exposed. With the measured values and the considerations generated through the observations made during visits to the company was elaborated the risk map of the organization. The agents responsible for possible risks to the worker's health in the organization were then cataloged and contextualized. The study was completed with the structuring of an action plan based on the 5W2H tool seeking to eliminate or minimize exposure of workers to risk agents.
