Résumé:
This work aims the development of a maintenance system in a rock crushing company in the outback region of Pernambuco. A bibliographic review was made to learn some concepts for the understanding of the subject matter and study of the main modes, causes and effects of failures and application of the FMEA tool. The execution of this research was developed through a case study. Interviews and on-site visits were also carried out at the company under study to learn about the structure and carry out the information to later create the FMEA tables, from which a maintenance plan will be developed using the 5W2H tool for the application of predictive maintenance. The maintenance plan consists of reducing unexpected breaks or failures. The FMEA tool consists in the identification of what has been the agent that causes the failures and seeks to offer a way to solve the problems. The research also addressed the creation of an action plan to assist in the maintenance management. Finally, the FMEA and 5W2H tools were applied to the above-mentioned company, making it possible to know the main modes, causes and effects of failures of its processes. According to the application of the tools, it was possible to conclude that the Cone and Hydrocone crushers are the most critical machines and need more attention. After this research, the owner will have available the necessary managerial information that will give support to a more efficient maintenance control and the aid in the decision making of the organization. The purpose of this work is to develop a maintenance program that can give support and provide competitiveness to rock crushing companies in the maintenance management of their machines.
