Segurança pública: classificação das cidades da Paraíba quanto à propensão à criminalidade.

Abstract

This study suggests a multicriteria model that uses PROMSORT to classify the cities acording to the crime levels, considering phi demographics and social factors. The model was applied na Paraíba’s state cities tend to the occurrence of crimes. Later, na analysis was made to observe solutions to decrease these rates, priorizing the cities on critical situation. The method used demonstrated important advantages such as: a structured procedure to approach different criteria, possibility of priorizing aties with different levels of disposition to crminality on critical level to implement public policies and visualize the situation of the state in relation to the criminality.
