Résumé:
The current standards of production and consumption impose each time plus a bigger attention on the environment, with the objective to protect the future generations. The present work is come back toward the contribution to become the activity of the tannery a less aggressive and ecologicamente viable process in the adequate treatment of its residues. The raised contaminante text of these residues generated in the Industry of Tannery, has mechanical origin during the diverse chemical processes and operations the one that is submitted to the skins in its transformation in leather, resulting residues that contain chromium in the trivalent form in its composition. The influence of the granulometria of the residues of leather tanned to chromium III under the thermal decomposition was studied in this work, through the techniques of termogravimetria (TG) and of it analyzes thermal differential (DTA), where if considers a possible treatment of
these residues, aiming at to minimize the ambient impact caused by this metal heavy.
