This study had the objective of mapping the productive potential of the poultry cluster in the municipality of Queimadas, Paraíba. The theoretical basis discusses the strategic resources and resources of the cluster, making use of the model of cluster analysis of Moreira (2015). On this model, the research is based on the five groups of the cluster resources, namely: production, demand, supply and support industry, relationship with local institutions and the relationship resources at the horizontal level. As for the methodological aspect, the study follows a qualitative and quantitative approach, having as units of analysis the associations and the producers of poultry of the municipality of Queimadas. Data were collected through questionnaires. A large number of small producers were identified, no major producers in the region. Respondents indicated their perceptions regarding the five groups of cluster resources. The productive potential seemed good. As for the production resources, it was noticed favorable points to the activity; Already the demand resources presented deficiencies that impede the increase of the supply; With regard to supply and relationship resources at the horizontal level, there were some shortcomings; As regards the relationship with local institutions, the group presented itself satisfactorily. The conclusions point to the feasibility of the structuring of the poultry cluster in the city of Queimadas, requiring some care, highlighted at the end of this study.
