Resumo:
This work is a study of the north as poetic model of Augusto dos Anjos from the poems "The God-Worm" and "The Bat", focusing on the relationship of the poetic text with the socio-cultural landscape, considering some theories about the production poetics of modernity. This is a work of research anchored in the theoretical postulates of the modern poetry, through considerations of authors such as Marshall Berman, Hugo Friedrich, Jan Mukarovsky, Gullar Ferreira, among others, who make up the subsidy for the analysis of the constituent elements of poems above, in its formal structure and context, listing its features with the characteristics relevant to the artistic aspect established in modernity. For the analysis of poems such characteristics are observed through the innovative aesthetics of the poet, given his technique as holding high-level of creation, going to meet the poetic side of modernity.
