Resumen:
Currently, several studies herald a crisis in the teaching of Portuguese language, especially in basic and medium levels. Means that the challenges of current society have required a to unveil the world. It is therefore e need to delineate the linguistic training of teachers, allowances technical and methodological dimensional with linguistic, social, capable of teaching-learning process of mother tongue. In that sense, this monograph, in general aimed at analyzing the quality of lynchpin to linguistic competence, from a theoretical and methodological, requested by the National Curriculum Parameters, made in the practices of these teachers in the daily life of the classroom. As a tool for data collection were carried out semi-structured interviews and questionnaires with the four professors (two of 5 years and two years of 6) of the Portuguese language they teach in E.E.E.I.E.F. Santa Maria Gorete, the city of San Jose de Piranhas - PB, for better understanding of problems with the teaching of languages, codes and their technologies and, specifically, with the Portuguese language in order to resizing of such practices.
