Resumen:
Soil macroinvertebrates play an important role in the formation, nutrient cycling, improvement of chemical, physical and biological properties, and soil fertility maintenance, being therefore bioindicators of the quality of agroecosystems. The work aimed to characterize a soil macrofauna in a Luvissolo with different uses and vegetation cover, not Cariri Paraibano. A field research was established in three areas, in different uses, there is no CDSA University Campus, located in the city of Súme PB. For the collections, it is necessary to use the Tasted type, constituted with PET bottle, with capacity of 2 L, with four perforations, with dimensions of 5,0 x 2,5 cm in the height of 20 cm of its base, where 200 ml of a 10% detergent solution and 5 drops of formaldehyde. Classes: Insecta (Hymenoptera, Coleoptera, Diptera, Thysanoptera, Hemiptera and Orthotera) and Arachnida (Araneae and Scorpiones). The collections of edaphic macrofauna were carried out in February 2017. It was verified that as orders Hymenoptera presented a higher percentage of individuals. (0.06 / 0.08), caatinga (0.11 / 0.16) and degraded area (0.09 / 0.10). The study demonstrates the positive effect of the control system on the presence of soil organisms and reinforces the importance of soil fauna as an indicator of soil quality, to assist in decision making in proposals for the recovery of degraded areas by means of strategies that stimulate Your activities.
