Resumo:
The proposal of this monographic work, Environmental Education in the Daily Life of Public Schools in the City of Cajazeiras Teoria e Praticas, arose from the curiosity to know how Environmental Education works in the daily life of these schools. The work starts from an analysis of the strategies that permeate the practice of Environmental Education, as these issues are associated with school knowledge and how it is being treated in the school universe.
This work reflects the studies developed with teachers of the public education network in the city of Cajazeiras - PB, from 2005 to 2006. The reason for this research is based on the interest in verifying what kind of work in the area of Environmental Education, the schools of Rede Publicas has been developing in the city of Cajazeiras - PB. This city, which, like others of small economic size, presents several environmental problems, and there is no greater concern about making more socio-educational mobilizations to try to solve them. Informally speaking with Directors, School Teachers and community, we feel that Environmental Education is not yet experienced by all.
