The classroom experience offered by shared teaching, one of the actions of the PIBID project diversity, puts us on a common problem in schools of basic education of the field, as well as urban areas, that is the question of learning that is disadvantaged by the apathy of students on traditional methodologies of teaching or other factors. Given this problematic framework emerged the questioning: how to attract the attention and interest of students on the content displayed in the classroom? In this way, the overall objective of this research was to analyze the importance of theatre games as a facilitator in the process of learning education in the area of languages and codes. As specific objectives: to present experiences regarding playfulness, perception, expressiveness and imagination; understand the pedagogical value inherent in the theatrical experience as educational practice. For both a qualitative research with the locus to State School of elementary and high school Loyal journalist José Ramos, in the municipality of São João do Cariri, Paraíba State. The subjects of the research were a teacher of Languages and codes from area elementary school II providing the Portuguese Language and culture classes and 19 students of 2nd year high school students of that School. As instruments for data collection, we used a script and a field journal, in which were noted all information regarding didactic sequence of activities. All information collected during the survey period were interpreted through the analysis of content of Bardin. The realization of theatre games as motivational activities to literary reading classes represented a playful feature which has enriched very pleasant moments of learning, allowing learners a encouraging the development of several skills. We realize with this study, the interest and the effective participation of students along the implementation of reading strategies, like the Theatrical Games, a learning space that has been developing captivating readers and mediated practices.
