Resumo:
Autistic Spectrum Disorder is a behavioral syndrome that has different etiologies and characteristics that present qualitative and quantitative impairments in social interaction, communication and behavior. However, its inclusive educational development is a challenge for all people, since school inclusion is presented as an educational system of school restructuring, in which it is believed that school inclusion can provide opportunities for learning and development. This study is aimed to identify and analyze the developmental process of the child with ASD in school. For that, a case study was developed at the Municipal School of the city of Amparo-PB, which has among its students a child with ASD. To obtain the data, we conducted semi-structured interviews with the teacher, the monitor and the mother of the child and observations in the classroom and in the school interval. The results of this study analysis contributed to understand how the development of the child with ASD in school and the process of inclusion occurs. We suggest new studies on intervention, teacher training and family-school relations.
