Resumo:
The Bachelor's Degree in Education in the field is aimed at training professionals to work in the rural schools, having a differentiated training of other bachelor's degrees, since the Degree in Field Education aims to train subjects to act by area of knowledge and not by isolated disciplines, generating a greater amplitude in the area of performance of the professionals who graduated from the course. Based on the assumption that the Bachelor's Degree in Field Education aims to train teachers to work in the Knowledge Area, the concern arose that we understood how the formation by area of knowledge occurs in the Course of Licenciatura in Field Education of the Federal University of Campina Grande, specifically in the area of Human and Social Sciences. In this way, the research aims to make a diagnosis of the training by area of knowledge of the Interdisciplinary Degree in Field Education of the Federal University of Campina, specifically in the area of Human and Social Sciences, based on the conceptions of the teacher trainers who work directly in the process of training students in the said area of knowledge. The research used the assumptions of the qualitative research, through a bibliographical survey and the accomplishment of the field research with the application of questionnaires to the professors of the Degree in Field Education that work in the area of Human and Social Sciences.The research identifies the need to have an interdisciplinarity between the disciplines, aiming to strengthen the knowledge area of Human and Social Sciences within the scope of the Interdisciplinary Degree in Field Education.
