Resumo:
This work aims to analyse Uirauna (a town situated in Paraiba, in North-Eastern Brazil) historical evolution, and how was its historical formation, according to the speech representation concerning a "Priests and Musicians Uirauna", especially since the 1970th, a historical period in which we can observe the legitimation of such a representation about this town, such as it is present in its inhabitants, with exacerbation. Taking into account the hypothesis that the speeches composing that concept are related to a social place with its intentionality and its conveniences, presenting, at the same time, some links to concepts such as oral historical memory, speech and city, as well as to Uirauna's origin related to historical personalities such as the priests Franca, Costa and Antonio Anacleto de Andrade and their musical support.
