The scientific research in this epigraph aims to examine the geography of public health in the town of Cajazeiras-PB. The main objective of this work was to analyze the relation between the production of health spaces and its connection to the salubrity of population, aspects considered of fundamental importance to comprehend the health condition of population. In Brasil, during the Old Republic period befell several changes in offering of public health and health models. Health promotion was not always regarded as an obligation of State, nevertheless just after the promulgation of Brasil Constitution 1988 this right was guaranteed by law. The absence of isonomy in spacialization of institutions which promote public health endangered the health of population. Hitherto, the health sector was in crisis. In the 1990's the implementation of Programa de Saude da Familia was the assistance model chosen by Brazilian government as an attempt on curing the existing crisis at Sistema Unico de Saiide. The organization and operation of institutions which offer health services in the counties have changed the reality of the salubrity of population. To analyze the problematic resulting from the relation between production and appropriation of geography of health and its relations to the offer and grievance which assail population is presented as essential for promoting a better quality of life for all of the population. As a theoretical starting point we built on the notion of geographic space proposed by SANTOS, M . (1996) which defines the space geography as an "inseparable aggregation of systems of objects and actions."
