Resumen:
The study object of this research is the dialogue of Education with vocational education. The research aimed to: know the role the teacher plays in vocational education; understand the role of the teacher in an institution that works with science and technology, and also reflect on the relationship of the training received by the teacher at the university and the demands in this new scenario. The methodology adopted was to research literature and field research. The research locus were two Federias Institutes of Education, Science and Technology, the Federal Institute of Paraíba (IFPB) and the Federal Institute of Ceara (IFCE). The subjects who participated in this research were two pedagogues (a IFPB and a IFCE). The instrument used for data collection was the semi-structured interview. Research has shown that in the current scenario education, in general, has a key role with regard to the reconceptualization of human labor. Therefore, one of its aspects is directed to the economic interests of the labor market. It is in this context that the teacher has the task of contributing to the hand of qualification preparation work for the market. The practices described in this study allow us to understand the importance of the teacher's work in the context of Vocational Education. One can then summarize pointing out that the ultimate purpose of their educational practice in the teacher Federal Institutes is to support the preparation of individuals for the world of work. It was very evident that the knowledge of pedagogy as a science education are indispensable for the various institutions that have any kind of educational practice.
