Abstract:
This work discusses the relationship between school and family and their impact on student learning. It presents as its theme the importance of the partnership between family and school in school’s field. Its general objective is to discuss about the importance of family-school interaction in the teaching process students' learning field. The theoretical anchor took from Taciana Mirna Sambrano (2014), Maria Carmen Silveira Barbosa (2012) and a complementary literature review involving the issue of teacher training. The methodology adopted for this research was a literature review and field research with qualitative approach exploratory next to public school in the city of St. Helena, in the state of Paraiba. The study subjects were three teachers from elementary school in the field. The data collection It was made by semi structured interview with results indicating the importance of family involvement the academic performance of their students.
